History

In 1998 the Dürrschmid&Reisinger OEG was founded and in 2000 it was assigned on Greentube I.E.S. AG. Shortly after, Greentube advanced to the position of market leader in Online Gaming.

The sites WebSchnapsen.com and BauernSchnapsen.com were exceptionally successful, and have been continuously expanded since then – there are now numerous national and international games on various platforms such as e.g. GameTwist.com

Meanwhile, the company began the geographical expansion of the platforms and made significant steps towards the international markets. One of the most successful and popular Greentube skill games has been the development of the 3D game „Ski Challenge“, a ski-racing game which was created in cooperation with ORF ON in 2004 and has received a massive reception in global ski-enthusiasts with more than 6 mio. players til now. In January 2010, Astra Games, a Novomatic-owned company, acquired 70% of Greentube I.E.S. AG – the company name has been changed to Greentube I.E.S. GmbH.

In the past few years, Greentube has extended its portfolio with Poker, Bingo and an extensive range of Casino Games. The main focus in the Greentube Casino solution is the ability to provide quality entertainment through a unique and captivating branded visual experience. Management

Mr. Eberhard Dürrschmid, CEO

Company founder Eberhard Dürrschmid built up and developed the company and it´s predecessor organisation (Dürrschmid & Reisinger OEG) from day one.

He has years of experience and excellent knowledge of the online gaming market and represents the company.

He is also responsible for the areas Marketing/Sales, Cooperation and Strategic Planning.

Mr. Bernd Krczal, CFO

Bernd Krczal, also a founding member, studied Business Administration at the WU (Business University of Vienna) and specialized in Business Computing.

He was responsible for the design and development of the database systems and is now mainly responsible for Strategic and Operative Planning, Finance and Controlling.

Mr. Friedrich Weinke, CTO

Founding member Friedrich Weinke also studied Business Administration at the WU (Business University of Vienna) and specialized in Business Computing.

At Greentube his areas of responsibility include the technical implementation of the server architecture and the database systems, as well as the implementation of new technology and its integration into existing processes.

Mr. Weinke is also responsible for the areas of Product Development and Technical Infrastructure.
