We undertake a wide range of activities in this area and provide a set of tools to ensure that our operating partners also fully comply with international Responsible Gaming regulations.
Responsible Gaming Activities
In order to ensure that our Responsible Gaming efforts are attuned to international standards, Greentube applied for certification by eCOGRA. This non-profit player protection and standards organisation provides an international framework for best operational practice requirements, with particular emphasis on fair and responsible gaming. Upon receiving the eCOGRA certification Greentube joined up with the highest industry levels of fair and responsible gaming, professional conduct and superior operating standards. The certification process includes an annual on-site factual review, the findings of which are documented in detailed Investigative Compliance Reports.
Legislative Activities
Greentube´s Maltese subsidiary has been holding a class 4 license as a software service provider for Skill Games, Casino, Poker and Skill games since 2006. The class 4 license is subject to the strict rules of the Maltese Lottery and Gaming authority (LGA), which was founded with a view to providing the necessary tools to implement effective regulation in the online games industry. The objectives surrounding the Responsible Gaming activities of the LGA are to raise awareness for the potential dangers of pathological gambling and to protect minors and vulnerable persons from potential danger.
Technical Activities
Thanks to Greentube’s RNG certification our customers can rely on a fair gaming environment. The Random Number Generator´s tests are undertaken by an independent authority and ensure that when a sequence of numbers or bits are electronically generated, that these are truly devoid of any pattern or bias.
In addition to the above, Greentube also supplies their operators with the necessary technology to safeguard their customers from potential risk. Greentube software monitors players´ behaviour and financial situation and limits the amount an individual can play on one game as well as the maximum stakes which can be put down in one day. Maximum losses per day are also under supervision – if the player reaches a limit, his or her account may be automatically disabled for a temporary period or even permanently deleted by the system.
