Greentube expands mobile multiplayer portfolio
Following the somewhat hesitant reception of mobile innovations by the market over the previous few years – with the exception of mobile “Ski Challenge”, with which Greentube underlined its leading position in the world of mobile gaming – the existing portfolio of mobile 2D games, which are also available as browser games, will be expanded to meet increasing demand. To achieve this, Greentube is employing its web2mobile technology developed already back in 2003. Multiplayer 2D games already available for mobile: Backgammon, 8-Ball and 9-Ball Pool, Yatzy, Schnapsen, Solitaire, Snooker, Skat, Pyramids, Sugar.
Greentube cooperates with partners to ensure the availability of its games. Hutchison Österreich and T-Mobile International are the most recent additions, both joining the team in August 2009. They offer diverse 2D multiplayer games for download, including Yatzy, Schnapsen, Pyramids, Solitaire, Pool, Snooker, Skat and Backgammon. Users can load the games via the “3” WAP site, the T-Mobile Portal www.t-zones.at and the gaming platform www.gametwist.com. A single mobile game costs approximately EUR 5.
Thanks to the unique multiplayer server architecture, Greentube has made it possible for gamers to play its card and board games against each other, irrespective of whether they are playing the browser game on a PC or the specially adapted mobile version. In taking this step, Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions GmbH is expanding its mobile competence and is offering a fantastic gaming experience for gamers on the move.
