Greentube gets eCOGRA Software Accreditation
Gaming developer Greentube I.E.S AG has joined the growing number of high quality online gambling software providers that have passed the review process by the independent player protection and standards body eCOGRA. The company is a non-profit player protection and standards organisation that provides an international framework with particular emphasis on fair and responsible gambling.
The process includes on-site and highly detailed inspections by an audit team tasked with ensuring that all aspects of the applicant’s software development operations, methodologies and management control systems comply with the international standards enshrined in eCOGRA’s generally accepted practices (eGAP). The investigative compliance review for Greentube I.E.S AG examined all aspects of the multi-lingual online bingo, casino and poker software.
Eberhard Dürrschmid, CEO of Greentube says: “We have recently passed the test for European Gambling and Betting Association standards, which are equally stringent, and that certainly helped prepare us for that aspect of the inspection. We’re very pleased that we were successful in achieving the demanding eCOGRA standards again proofing the high quality level established within our product development and operational teams and software.”
