Mountain Bike Challenge 10 enters new round
Since the end of May 2010 the 5th season of Mountain Bike Challenge has been underway. This year Greentube has collaborated with the media agencies SevenOne (Germany), Austria.com (Austria), SevenOne (Switzerland) and France Télévision (France). Gamers can qualify online for five international races and then take part in the respective competition showdowns. Once again the download is available free of charge. MBC10 is a high-quality, multiplayer online game, which belongs to Greentube’s eSport series and is therefore financed by In-Game Advertising.
With optimised game physics, an expanded 3D environment and individual settings Greentube has been able to optimise tried and tested features whilst also bringing a new level of realism to the game. Gamers face five challenging tracks this season, which will follow on from the huge success of last year: Fort William (UK), Heiligenblut (AUT), Green Mountain, Chinese Wall (PRC), Winterberg (DEU).
Work on the game was focussed on the game physics – the steering, muscle definition and crashes have been adjusted and refined. Likewise the game environment has now been made even more realistic. The navigation has been improved, as have the gamers’ options concerning ranking lists and personal stats. In addition to the community client functions, personal successes can be posted on Facebook via wall posts. For the first time gamers this year will be able to edit their bikes and racing apparel.
