Greentube´s “ORF Ski Challenge” wins Golden Award of Montreux · 2006/05/10

An international jury consisting of delegates from 14 different countries has been honouring outstanding creative projects from 34 countries at this year´s “Golden Award of Montreux” – one of the most respected International Advertising & Multimedia Competitions in the world.Greentube´s 3D E-Sport Interactive Game development, “Ski Challenge 06” – running for 80 days in cooperation with the Austrian Broadcasting Company ORF and the Swiss Broadcasting Company SF DRS – has won the “Golden Award of Montreux” category “Web” for outstanding creativity and cross-media promotion.

Ski Challenge 2006 has been played online 220 million times in 80 days and has been the biggest virtual ski-race series in the world.Greentube is already working on expanding the so-called ‘3D E-Sport’ portfolio, integrating two additional kinds of sport-series within the next few months.
