Ski Challenge 07 wins Jury Prize at Gamers Choice Award · 2007/04/26
ORF Ski Challenge 07 has won the Jury Prize at this year’s Austrian Gamers Choice Award (AGCA). The best games of 2006 were judged.
The Gamers Choice Award was presented for the 5th time having been established in 2001 following collaboration between the four media groups consol.AT, WCM, Gamers.at and the internet platform aon.at. Prizes were awarded in 15 categories.
Ski Challenge, which is now in its third season, was honoured with the Jury Prize, which was awarded by the organisers for outstanding achievements of an “Austrian developer” or “Austrian concept” in the field of computer and video games.
“ORF Ski Challenge is an international figurehead of the Austrian games-developer scene. The online game from the developer studio Greentube is astonishingly successful boasting millions of gamers around the world,” stated Hans Solar, co-organiser of the AGCA and journalist at trade magazine WMC.
