Games Portfolio - Skillgames

We develop international and national games such as Backgammon, Snooker, Billiards, Solitaire, Brisca, Skat and many others. Some examples are listed below:

Gin Rummy

Gin Rummy was invented in 1909 by Elwood T. Baker, who belonged to the Knickerbocker Whist Club. It is a card game for two players, whereby the objective of the game is to build groups of the same cards or runs of the same suit. It is important to keep an eye on what cards you discard and what cards your opponent picks up. The winner is the player that reaches a score, which is agreed before the game begins.

Solitaire

Solitaire is an incredibly popular card game for two players, who play against each other. The objective of the game is to lay out 52 cards in four piles as quickly as possible. Should you achieve this, your patience (another name for the game) is said to have paid off.

Yatzy Duel

Yatzy Duel is similar to poker. It is a dice game, whereby the aim of the game is to collect as many points as possible. It is crucial to have a good strategy when playing Yatzy Duel, as combining the dice yields special bonuses. The player who reaches the highest points total is the winner. Diamond Yatzy is a Yatzy Duel variant played with jewels.

Blackjack Duel

Blackjack was the ‘in game’ in the 1840s and soon became one of the most popular card games around. In Blackjack the players are in direct competition and bet using chips. The objective of the game is to get closer to 21 points than the croupier with two or more cards without going over 21.

8-ball Billard

The 8-ball version of pool is the most famous and popular variant of billiards. The player has “striped” and the opponent “solid”. At the end of the game, the black 8-ball has to go into a certain pocket.

Backgammon

Now we let the online players follow in the footsteps of the oldest board game in the world. 5000 years ago, backgammon came out of the kingdom of Mesopotamia and conquered the world. Since then this thrilling game has been played for real money. Outfitted with functions such as a table system for selecting opponents or real-time chat, the game is also easy to learn for beginners.

Brisca

Brisca, the card game of the Spanish Senores and its Italian counterpart Briscola have finally reached the age of virtual reality. Two to five players play in pairs or individually against each other. Only a sharp mind, strategic skill and good powers of observation lead to victory. Greentube has given the web version of Brisca the “feel” of the real gaming table – especially when it comes to filling the players’ pockets.

Skat

Here we bring you the most exciting online Skat on the web! Skat is more than just a card game; Skat is a national sport in Germany! Web games are played according to international tournament rules. The term “Skat” comes from a Latin word, but that is the only boring thing about it!
