Hong Kong Mahjong
Hong Kong Mahjong is an old Chinese game. As a fashion, Mah-Jongg disappeared as quickly as it had come. Today, however, the game is extremely popular in China and Japan.
In Hong Kong Mahjong four players play against each other. The aim of the game is to form combinations of stones in order to achieve the most points possible. Each player forms combinations (also known as melds) in his/her own hand. These melds, however, may only be laid once the player can call a Mahjong and therefore end the game. The exception is a meld, which can be formed using a discarded stone such as a Kong meld.
