In Austria the game is known as the original American name Rummy. The French name Rommé, which is used in Germany, is derived from Rummy. In France the game is called Rami.
Rummy is a card game for 2-4 players, which is popular across central Europe. The aim of the game is to lay all of your cards. The player may only lay the cards if they form defined groups and/or sequences. The game comes to an end as soon as one player has laid all of his/her cards.
