The aim in Random Runner® is to line up three identical symbols on the win line in the basic game and the five win lines in supermeter mode. All win lines run from left to right.
Random Runner® is split into basic mode (in the lower half of the game) and supermeter mode (in the upper half). Coins are used for placing stakes in Random Runner®. Players credit will be converted into coins directly in the game and converted back when they are finished.
Players always start the game in basic mode, playing on the lower reel set. The stake for one round in the basic game is one coin. If a spin ends without a win, but there’s a potential winning combination (with two reels showing the same symbols on a line, for example), players can fix the reels in place by hitting the “Hold” button and spin the remaining reel(s) with a further bet by pressing the “Start” button.
If players then win, they can transfer their winnings to the supermeter or claim credit. The stake for one round in supermeter mode is five coins, with one coin being deducted from the coin display and four from the supermeter display. As soon as the supermeter display is empty – because they have either bet all their coins or transferred them to their credit – supermeter mode will end and the player will return to the basic game.
