Thrilling eSports competition, the Ski Challenge Nations Cup, turning up the heat!

In the coming weeks Bormio, Wengen, Kitzbühel and Garmisch Partenkirchen will become core focusses for the alpine professionals competing in the Downhill World Cup, this is exactly the same as for the teams taking part in the Ski Challenge Nations Cup. In parallel with the respective event weekends the best E-Gamers are also throwing themselves down the digital slope in the Ski Challenge Nations Cup. Each week VIP seats for fans and Ski Challenge pilots are available in the virtual grandstand on the Twitch stream.

In the past few weeks, seven national teams comprising of four players each have qualified for the Nations Cup. These Ski Challenge professionals now have 3 attempts each race weekend to achieve that perfect run across the finish line.

So while the downhill pros sharpen the steel edges on their skis before their treacherous rides, the Nations Cup qualifiers will be trimming their fingernails, since the same four downhill classics are naturally among the most challenging slopes in Ski Challenge too. If you want to finish with the best time, you definitely need a few good practice runs under your belt to find the quickest descent line for each slope. After all, it’s not just about fame and honor at the end of the season, its also about the excellent prizes to be won totaling €25,000.

For the Nations Cup teams wanting to step up their game and all the spectators who have been keeping a keen eye on the tournament and want some extra Ski Challenge entertainment, then there’s a Twitch stream after each race, on the Sunday, where the performance of all the Nations Cup competitors are shown with expert commentary and tournament updates are given.
